U-11 Development Programme 2012

Clare U11's and U12s Development Program 2012

The Clare Ladies Football U11 and U12 development panels return to the
field this weekend for an eight week program beginning this Saturday.
This year sees a training centre open in Ennis and surrounding clubs,
to accompany the West Clare centre that has been in operation since
this development program formed three years ago.

Players who have participated in last year's U11 program are requested to attend the
U12 program this year while the clubs have been contacted by
coordinators Michael Edwards-Murphy (West Clare) 0879406374 and Alan
Copley (East Clare) 0872704491 to forward players for the U11 program.
Parents of players in both centres will be contacted directly by the
coordinators with details. The underage development programs which also
extend to U13 and U15, (starting soon) have been instrumental in
helping Clare achieve three underage All-Ireland final appearances
this year, winning two.

Calling all Fundamentals Qualified Coaches For
U11 development Squad Programme 2012

The Clare U11 & U12 development squads will reassemble this year.
Until now we have always had one centre, usually in West Clare, This
year we are facilitating a second centre in Ennis. This will hopefully
encourage players from Mid-Clare and East Clare by reducing their time
travelling to and from the development sessions.

Development squad training usually starts early September and takes
place on a Saturday morning for one hour. Training usually consists of
simple skills development and the compulsory game, which they all
love. At the end of a seven week program the Clare U11s and U12s host
an intercounty one day blitz with Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and
Galway attending. Previous programmes have been very successful.

I am contacting all Fundamentals qualified coaches to get involved and
volunteeer for either the U11s or the U12s. You can volunteer for the
West Clare centre or the Ennis centre.
We can never have too many coaches at this level.

Don't worry if you will miss one or two sessions, its difficult at
times but I know you will find this a very rewarding experience

Please contact me to sign up, as the Clare Ladies board and Games
Development committee (and the players) will greatly appreciate it.

Thanks All,
Alan
